Family Fun Days

As everyone is well aware, COVID-19 is causing a lot of changes to and cancellation of events this Fall.  Unfortunately, it is with great sadness that we announce Whitaker Farms is no different as we've decided to cancel our Fall Farm Fest this year.  However, we are excited to to offer a new, safe way for you and your families to still come visit the farm, pick out a pumpkin, and enjoy many other fun activities this Fall! Whitaker Farms will be hosting Family Fun Days on Friday, October 9th,  Saturday, October 10th, Friday, October 16th and Saturday, October 17th.    

These educational events will be limited to 25 guests per time slot with 3 time slots available each day.  The day will be structured similar to the field trips we offer to schools.  Our guests will have an opportunity to Learn about the Life Cycle of a Pumpkin and Select a Pumpkin of their own; Participate in a hands-on Planting Experience with a Plant to take home; Enjoy our Playground and Picnic Facilities (our corn pit will remain closed due to its confined space). Families will have the chance to meet our Farm Animals, Take a Tractor-drawn Wagon Ride around the Farm, among many other fun activities The full farm experience will last 2 hours and will cost $15 per person, Infants 1 year old and younger are free!  Unfortunately, the cost is higher than our traditional field trips simply because we are not working with the same volume of guests each day and we have to have extra staff to disinfect each station between groups of visitors.  Please Note: This is a structured event meaning ALL guests will go to each station as a group. Face masks ARE required!
